The Women-Owned Brands Our Editors Love to Support

Happy International Women's Day! Here at SwearBy, we celebrate women not just today, but every day. In addition to supporting all of the strong and inspirational women in our SwearBy community, one of our favorite ways to show our appreciation and admiration for women is with our dollar. We tapped our SwearBy editors to share their favorite women-owned or founded brands to support and shop in honor of International Women's Day.

Té Company Pineapple Linzer Cookie

“As a tea-lover, it’s hard for me to avoid not making a purchase on Té Company every five minutes. Founded by Elena Liao, Té Company is known for its scrumptious tea imported from Taiwan. I love the company for its Baozhong oolong and Jade Rouge black teas, but really, it’s the brand’s Pineapple Linzer Cookies that really take the biscuit (excuse the pun). A refreshing take on Taiwan’s famed pineapple cakes, the fragrant Linzer cookies aren’t overly sweet, making them the perfect afternoon snack when paired with a cup of green tea. If you’re ever in New York, be sure to check out Té Company’s storefront in the West Village — you won’t find a more serene and relaxing tea room anywhere else.” — Nina Huang

Briogeo Haircare

“Briogeo is one of my favorite Black, women-owned businesses. It’s the only brand I trust with my curls because of its gentle, effective, and clean ingredients. It makes my hair feel shiny, bouncy, hydrated, and frizz-free after every use. I also love that a little bit of the product goes a long way, so I’m not constantly needing to replenish my shampoo and conditioner.” — Stephanie Perry

Summer Fridays Super Amino Gel Cleanser

“Summer Fridays was founded by Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores Ireland. After years of testing the latest creams, masks, and serums, the two lifestyle and beauty influencers decided to make their own skincare brand, and I’m so glad they did. This gel cleanser is just one of the brand’s products I love.” — Christie Calucchia

Seemore Sausage Variety Pack

“There are so many reasons I love Seemore’s Meat and Veggies. First and foremost, the brand’s vegetable-forward sausages are delicious. It offers five flavors, including Broccoli Melt and Chicken Parm that are perfect for topping pizza, tossing into pasta, or simply eating by themselves. Secondly, it has a mission to help people eat meat responsibly, not only by packing its fully-cooked sausages with fresh vegetables but also by using carbon credits to offset its emissions. And I think it’s pretty cool that Seemore’s is founded and operated by a fourth generation female butcher (you don’t see many of those!).” — Katie Macdonald

Lauren DiCioccio Open Editions Thank You Pink Rose Tote

“Otherwild is one of my favorite one-stop-shops for all things accessories, home decor, and fun gifts. The best part? It’s a queer-identified woman-owned business, so I always feel good about supporting my community with each purchase. I’m a firm believer that one can never have too many tote bags, which is why I’ve currently been eyeing up this printed pink taffeta by Lauren DiCioccio.” –Jayla Andrulonis

ByChari Initial Necklace

“Chari Cuthbert (of ByChari) is a Jamaican-Chinese American jewelry designer that creates my favorite jewelry pieces. They are stunning, yet simple pieces of jewelry that are trendy, but also timeless. I especially love her initial necklaces. She’s also known for designing the VOTE necklace that Michelle Obama wore during the Democratic National Convention in 2020.” — Sara Tan

Live Tinted Huestick

“This hue stick (for eyes, lips, cheek) is so versatile and instantly makes me feel more put-together. Perfect for Zoom calls! It’s also women-owned and founded and works for all skin types.” — Sanjani Amarasiri
