The Ultimate Self Care Gift Guide: Face Masks, Grooming Essentials, Cozy Things, and Beyond

This has been an incredibly stressful year, but if it has taught us anything, it is that taking care of ourselves is of the utmost importance. From eating right, exercising, and getting enough sleep, to getting some much-needed "me time," we are big proponents of looking after yourself. And with the holidays right around the corner, we've been thinking about all of the little things we love to do to pamper ourselves that would make great gifts, and have come up with the coziest list of all time. These items would all make for excellent gifts for a friend who has had an especially stressful year and is in desperate need of some rest and relaxation, or for yourself — self love is always a good thing.

And with that in mind, it's time to draw a bath, light some candles, throw on a face mask, and pick up a good book — because we all deserve it.

Otherland Candle: Gilded Collection

I never really understood why people would spend so much money on candles until I got an Otherland candle. I love this candle so so much—it burns really slowly and smells SO GOOD (I have the Silk Pajamas fragrance, and I’m obsessed with it), and is really beautiful to boot.” — Madeleine Letellier

BURST Sonic Toothbrush | Deep Cleaning Sonic Toothbrush

This toothbrush lives up to its stellar reputation. Let’s be honest — it’s the most stylish toothbrush you’ve ever seen. It cleans your teeth well without being harsh, and I’ve even noticed that it has a whitening effect even without using BURST’s whitening strips. Plus, the fact that you get new brush head refills automatically shipped to you every 3 months just makes life so much easier.” — Brooke Weber

Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Throw

I’ve sung praises of Barefoot Dreams’ impossibly soft throw before and I’ll sing its praises again. This CozyChic blanket from the ultimate cozy brand is so comfortable, that I sometimes prefer it over my usual duvet at night. Snuggling up with it is like snuggling with a fuzzy puppy — just without the shedding and much easier to wash. Even my family is now obsessed with it, and my brother (who is rarely one to fall for cozy things) is already requesting one for the holidays.” — Nina Huang

Ugg Pompom Fleece Lined Socks

With my friends and family spending so much time at home this winter due to Coronavirus, my holiday shopping list has been full of cozy items that will make their quarantine much more comfortable. These cute Ugg socks are on the list because they’re not only super soft and comfy, but they are also fully lined with a fuzzy fleece material that will keep your feet warm and toasty. Plus, they feature cute pom-pom accents for a stylish touch.” — Rebecca Carhart

Dermalogica Active Moist

I have used this moisturizer since I was a teenager and it has never let me down. It soaks into my skin quickly and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling. It got me through my teenage acne in high school and any breakouts since then. Couldn’t #swearby this more if I tried!” — Luke Neville

Glossier Body Hero Exfoliating Bar

I just bought this Glossier Body Hero Exfoliating Bar a week or so ago and I’m already obsessed! My skin has never felt softer and it smells so fresh and clean. This exfoliating bar will make a great stocking stuffer for all the self-care lovers in your life!” — Mary Deadrick

Soap Cherie Relaxation Bubble Bath

This beautiful bubble bath soap is on my wishlist this year—I recently moved into an apartment with a bathtub, and it has been my absolute favorite thing to soak in the tub after a long day at work (AKA my kitchen table). Not only has my bath time made it easier to set boundaries in my work and home life, but it has been a great way to calm myself down, and treat myself a little bit.” — Madeleine Letellier

Herbivore Coconut Milk Bath Soak

This Herbivore soak has become one of my all time favorite bath soaks. I take a bath nearly every night, so I take my baths very seriously. A few spoonfuls of this make your bath into a skin softening, soothing experience. Afterward, skin is super hydrated and smells faintly of coconut and vanilla.” — Grace Atwood

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren

If you loved One Day in December, this is the perfect book to read during the holidays. For romance lovers who are looking for a sweet and fun holiday read, writing duo Christina Lauren is back with their first ever holiday novel. In a Holidaze is a super cute Groundhog Day story, in which our heroine relives the same holiday over and over again. Read this one while lounging next to your Christmas tree this holiday season, you’ll fly through it!” —Anabel Jimenez

Yes to Tomatoes | Acne Fighting Paper Mask - Single Use

It’s inexpensive, it’s available in so many local drug stores, and it does its job amazingly. My super-sensitive skin is totally unbothered by this face mask, and I’m always left feeling refreshed and relaxed after I use one. My skin has never been softer!” — Brooke Weber

Sunbeam - Queen Size Heated Blanket

No cozy night in is complete without my heated blanket. I love that it has an adjustable heat setting so I can get as toasty as I like and that it’s velvety soft to the touch. I live in a home without a fireplace so this blanket provides that dose of warmth and comfort I crave on cold winter nights. My only complaint is that I have a hard time keeping it away from my boyfriend and dog!” — Stephanie Perry
