The Ultimate Gift Guide for a Cozy Night In

When in doubt, give the gift of cozy. That's not an official motto for holiday season shopping, but it should be because you really can't go wrong by choosing a pair of fur-lined slippers or an "impossibly soft" blanket to give every person on your list. Think about it: has anyone ever said, "Ugh, I hate soft, comfy things?" We think not. The bigger issue, however, might be the overabundance of fuzzy and furry things to choose from. We tapped our SwearBy Editors to find out their favorite cozy things to gift this holiday season. We won't tell anyone if you buy one of each for yourself, too.

Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Throw

“I’ve sung praises of Barefoot Dreams’ impossibly soft throw before and I’ll sing its praises again. This CozyChic blanket from the ultimate cozy brand is so comfortable, that I sometimes prefer it over my usual duvet at night. Snuggling up with it is like snuggling with a fuzzy puppy — just without the shedding and much easier to wash. Even my family is now obsessed with it, and my brother (who is rarely one to fall for cozy things) is already requesting one for the holidays.” –Nina Huang

Birkenstock Arizona Shearling Slide Sandal

“I live in my Birkenstocks 90% of the year until the temperature drops below 70. That means winter has finally arrived in LA, so I trade in my regular Birkenstock sandals for its wintry version — the shearling-lined slides. These babies keep my toes nice and toasty and are so, so, so comfy. Even though I mostly wear them indoors, they are super supportive so my feet get the cushion they deserve.” — Sara Tan

Boy Smells Kacey Musgraves Slow Burn Candle

“As a longtime fan of Boy Smells, when it announced a collab with Kacey Musgraves you can guarantee I preordered the candle as fast as my fingers would let me. Since then, it’s become my favorite scent to light during cozy nights in and its notes of incense, black pepper, and amber feel luxurious but are never overpowering in my space. I specifically light this one when I’m in relaxation mode and keep another ready to light.” Jayla Andrulonis

Richer Poorer Robe Coat

“This robe is great for lounging around the house. It’s oversized yet lightweight, and it has an elevated feel that makes staying in feel luxurious. I wear it almost every night (and sometimes during the day when I’m working from home).” –Christie Calucchia

Sunbeam Queen Size Heated Blanket

“No cozy night in is complete without my heated blanket. I love that it has an adjustable heat setting so I can get as toasty as I like and that it’s velvety soft to the touch. I live in a home without a fireplace so this blanket provides that dose of warmth and comfort I crave on cold winter nights. My only complaint is that I have a hard time keeping it away from my boyfriend and dog!” –Stephanie Perry

Made In Cookware Wine Glass Set

“As we settle into shorter days and colder nights, my boyfriend and I like to to wind down with a glass of wine and a movie. And as a food writer, I know quality glassware is just as important as what you’re pouring. This Italian-made set from Made In is my new go-to. Featuring both white and red glasses, their slightly angled bowls enhance wine’s aroma and taste and tapered stems are easy to hold. But despite how lightweight and elegant they feel, the titanium-reinforced glasses are sturdy enough to clean in the dishwasher. Cheers to that!” –Katie Macdonald

Parachute Women's Waffle Lounge Set

“When it comes to cozy nights at home, comfortable pajamas are a must. Instead of reaching for oversized tees and tired old sweats, I love to wear a coordinated set to look and feel a bit more polished and pulled together. This cute option from Parachute is my favorite. Not only are they incredibly comfortable, but they are also stylish enough to wear outside the house too.” –Rebecca Carhart

Cooking Gift Set Co. Mulled Wine Cocktail DIY Kit

“I honestly don’t think there is anything cozier than a hot cocktail on a cold night. I get excited for warm winter-themed cocktails every time the season rolls around but needless to say, bars aren’t really a thing this year, so I’ve taken to making mulled wine and hot toddies at home. This kit is absolutely adorable, so easy to use, and makes the most incredible mulled wine. All you need is one bottle and all the spices will last for more than a couple of bottles. Would highly recommend a night in with this kit, a Christmas movie, and a fuzzy blanket. It’s basically the easiest way to get over S.A.D.” –Tara Gonzalez
