Pumpkin Spice Your Life with these Finds

I’ll admit it: I’m #basic, and proud of it. From September 1 onward, I’m essentially a walking, talking billboard for all things sugar and spice and everyyything nice. Pumpkin candles? Sure. A sprinkle of nutmeg on my coffee a la Luke Danes in Gilmore Girls? Of course. Listen, the world is cold enough. If I need a dollop of whipped cream to get through my day, I’m doing it.

And I’m not alone. The SwearBy community has literally great taste, as these autumnal finds prove.

Pumpkin Spice RXBAR

Pumpkin Spice flavored stuff is usually not actually good; I’m pretty sure everyone just pretends to like it to honor the lovely autumn season,” says Julie Bourne, who I’m going to agree to disagree with. “The Pumpkin Spice RXBAR flavor is one of the great examples of non-BS PS.” And *speaking* of no BS: the bar has only four ingredients, not including all those delish spices. “Don’t let the $3 / bar price tag at the store scare you away. They’re well worth it.”

Califia Farms Fall Collection: Pumpkin Spice is Back

The main thing I don’t love about barista-made pumpkin spice lattes? All the schlepping involved to get one. Enter: Califia Farms Fall Collection. “With everything feeling wrong this year, pumpkin spice is more important than ever! It always makes me feel like hitting the pumpkin patch or curling up in a sweater,” says Karla Lint (um, yessss, girl). “Califia Farms has done a good thing with this dairy-free fall collection. My favorite in the roundup is the Pumpkin Spice Better Half, great flavor, and no sugar. I stock up on this and drink it throughout the winter and maybe into the spring ;).”

Pamela's Gluten Free Pumpkin Bread Mix

If baking is helping you get through this international pandemic hellscape of a year, join the club. “Just in time for the holidays, this pumpkin bread mix does not disappoint!” says Kim Peterson. “I’ve used this mix so many times I’ve lost count and Every. Single. Time. I get raves! So easy to make and I suggest going the extra step and add the brown sugar/butter topping. Delish.” Kim, if you ever need a taste tester, I’m here for you.

Tenoverten Nail Polish

Feel like getting gourd-geous? (Sorry.) You may be interested in this pretty polish. “This non-toxic nail polish color (Cliff) is Autumn in a bottle,” says Catherine Spinley. “The color screams, ‘Pumpkin Spice Latte,’ which I’d rather wear than drink. The formula is smooth, color coverage is even and the bottle is beautiful. Also, I feel great supporting a small, female-owned business.” She’s not the only one who loves it. “It’s the longest-lasting, glossiest nail polish I’ve ever tried,” says Eva Dayton. Let’s just say they nailed it. (Again, sorry.)

Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask Enzymatic Dermal Resurfacer

We all know vitamin-rich pumpkin is fabulous for you—but did you know it does wonders for your skin? “This is a product that I will purchase over and over,” raves Alana Kelly who, judging by her SwearBy portrait, has luminous skin. “It smells like PUMPKINS and has a tingling sensation that reassures you that it is working. Sometimes when I get a facial at new places, I smell this familiar pumpkin scent and know that they are using this product—which further reinforces my decision to buy it forever.” Perhaps orange the new gold.
