Pink and Red Swears for Valentine's Day

When you think about what color sums up February, we all know that the answer is pink or red. It’s the colors of Valentine’s Day, and of love. It’s the colors of brightness and joy while we’re coming out of the polar vortex (-45F anyone???). And it’s one of the most popular colors for face makeup. These are also some of my favorites things to wear for a cozy date case you have some of those coming on the 14th!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette

This palette has the most beautiful warm red tones that are SO flattering. I’ve had this palette since it came out and I still find myself reaching for it. It is unique and can be used to make a ton of looks, from dramatic to every day. It is well worth the investment to add this to your collection!

NCLA Nail Lacquer in Call My Agent

I don’t wear traditional nail color much because my nails just don’t tolerate it well, but this color is gorgeous. I love the red-pink color and its beautiful. I think it’s the perfect color for Valentine’s Day, and I’m going to be wearing it for that!

Drunk Elelphant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial

The first time I tried this out, I was afraid. I put it on, and it immediately started to burn. I had read online that this could happen, so I powered through for the full twenty minutes, and sure enough, the tingling feeling stopped after a few minutes. At the end of the 20 minutes, I rinsed it off and my skin really was baby-like. My fiance even noticed. My skin is noticeably smoother and less textured after I use this, but I could only use it once per week at the most because of the harsh nature of the acids.

Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayon

Bite Beauty feeds my soul. The colors are extra pigmented and are made of 100% food-grade edible ingredients, which is so so important for things that touch your lips all day! The shade Coulis is my favorite, and easily stays on 7+ hours, despite being a bright red!

Conair Double Ceramic Curling Iron Rose Gold - 1.25"

This has been my go-to curling iron since I was 13. I picked up a new one after mine stopped turning on…eleven years after I got the first one! I love, love, love this thing. It heats quickly and evenly, and can make ringlets or big loose beachy curls. I use this multiple times a week, and it has never disappointed me. I’ve used $400 curling irons, but this $15 one beats them all. And it’s rose gold! Super cute, right?

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush

This is one of the only brushes that I have totally used up. Completely gone! It wears nicely and lasts all day. I have a couple of different colors, but my favorites are Paaaarty and Entertain!

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask

Do you want to feel extra moisturized and date-night ready? This has a great watermelon scent and brightens up my skin in just a few minutes. I also love that this pretty pink mask comes in two pieces for the best fit. I also went on vacation and got a little too much sun and this fixed it up in no time!

At my heart, I'm educator. During the day, I'm educating teenagers in how to do basic chemistry. At night and on the weekends, I'm educating followers of my blog, EverydayCait in how to upgrade your life and work towards your goals. A little extra time in the week?
