Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke

Rilke's timeless letters about poetry, sensitive observation, and the complicated workings of the human heart.

I read a lot of her books and I have to admit, her writing really helped me get through some tough times in my life. She teaches the reader the importance of asking questions instead of striving to have all the answers and this became a crucial lesson for me that guides me throughout my life. I think it's a book that ay creative person should read. The author also mentions how difficult it is to convey something to your parents, when you are a creative person, that you shouldn't try to explain everything -  there will always be something they won't understand. But they still love you. This thought resonated with me a lot as I sometimes forget that.
