Homegoing book

I read a lot and I was debating which book to share. I landed on this one because even though it seems very specific to my experience. Each short story is powerful on its own. The stories string together to create a beautiful narrative about connectivity between generations and lineage.

Loved this so much. Beautifully written and rich with history. Starts in eighteenth-century Ghana and ends in the here and now. I put off the last 5 pages for an entire weekend because I didn’t want it to end...

I loved this book - I could not put it down. I was actually really interested in how it was going to turn out and loved that it was not what I expected!
